Description
1915 3s on 3m violet-black, SURCHARGE TRIPLE TWO ALBINO, mint og, with the albino surcharges (clearly detectable from the face) 1/2mm and 2mm below the inked impression, slight gum creasing of little significance, very rare, although a sheet of 20 must have been existed, only a few examples have been discovered, cert. Brandon (2000), which incorrectly states “double, one albino” (SG £2’750) Catalogue ref: SG B12ca
