1906 Athens, superb collection of 68 picture postcards, incl. examples showing events such as the rope climb, fencing, tennis, marathon, cycling, wrestling, 100m sprint, ones depicting individual winners, real photo postcard of the Swedish team, many of the stadium and Opening Ceremonies (incl. the synchronised penny farthings!), the vast majority related to the Games with a few about Athens and Olympia, plus two related picture album cards from 1936, a stunning group very rarely offered
