1854-57 Post Paid 2d. blue, position 11, a very fresh example with clear to large margins, cancelled by fine strike of numeral ‘5’ hs on cover front addressed to the P.O. of Port Louis, showing octagonal ‘PLAINES WILHELMS/DE13.1855’ hs at left, and Mauritius crown ds in centre, very fine, one of only two examples recorded from this rural town
