1857 (Dec 17) Envelope from Pipon Bell (incl. original contents) sent from Mauritius to India, endorsed “p Mont Blanc” with crowned GPO ds, with ms notation on arrival “Not found / Return to Mauritius”, and sent back on 26th Jan with Calcutta boxed ship letter ds on reverse with ms rates, plus a “Returned Letter” cover from the Dead Letter Office in Mauritius (for this same correspondence but not the matching cover) and sent back to Pipon Bell & Co., dated June 23 inside, most unusual
