1871 (23.9) Folded entire letter from Salonica to Patras, posted on board ship, franked 2nd Issue 20 paras yellow-green (2), tied by large oval Khedevial Mail Line cachet in black, manuscript ‘From Thessalonika’ in blue crayon crayon at right, with Greek Large Hermes 20 lepta blue, tied ‘Patras’ circular datestamp, backstamped Athens, Syra and Patras circular datestamps, a very rare item and an important showpiece
