1870 (20.11) Cover from Constantinople to Cairo via Alexandria, franked by a pair of 1867 2nd issue 2pi blue tied by a fine small V.R. POSTE EGIZIANE / CONSTANTINOPOLI / 20 NOV. 1870 circular datestamp and an additional strike on the top of the cover, this was double the 2 pi. rate for a letter from a port to an inland destination, backstamped on arrival in Alexandria on December 9th and in Cairo later that day, minor cover faults, a scarce usage
