Description
1856 (7.1) Letter from Suez to Bombay, postmarked in Suez 7 JA 1856 and with arrival postmark from Bombay on the reverse JA 25. In Suez they had evidently forgotten to change the year in the datestamp from the 1855 ro 1856 and, therefore, the last figure was added by hand. Rated “2” shillings, fine and scarce
