1945 AZERBAIJAN SOVIET GOVERNMENT: Highly important 1946 (July 7) registered cover to USA franked on both sides with a total of 8 Pictorials, with the 2.50R and 75d values having the Azarbaijan Soviet overprints, all stamps tied by Tauris 7-VII-46 cds and the 2.50R also by New York oval bs, Teheran transit and New Jersey arrival (Sept. 23), the front shows it was sent from the telegraph office in Tabriz (Tauris) and has large printed Tauris registration label, a marvellous showpiece, cert.
