1841 (May 8) 2d Mulready envelope, forme 1 stereo a203 with “Webb, L’pool” advertising imprint on backflap (for Waring Webb of Liverpool, SG.MA490d),
sent from Liverpool to Birmingham and neatly cancelled with a black MC, despatch and arrival bs, very fine and extremely rare, one of only two recorded examples of these imprints on a 2d Mulready, ex “Mayflower” Catalogue ref: SG ME4
