Waadt 4C (21. Marke des Bogens) entwertet mit blauem PD im Kreis auf Briefumschlag nach Thônex mit blauem Aufgabestempel CHÊNE 30 MARS 1850 MATIN, breitrandige Marke (zur Kontrolle gelöst und zurückgeklebt) in tadelloser Erhaltung, Brief hat Riss oben links der mit Falz unterlegt ist und wirkt somit unstörend, ein schöner Brief und aüsserst seltene Entwertung mit dem blauen PD von Chêne, Atteste Fulpius, v.d.Weid/Hertsch
Provenienz: Sammlung Helveticus 1849 4c black & red, good to large even margins, superbly cancelled by clear blue “PD” on small neat envelope from Chene to Thonex, with blue CHENE / 30.3.1850 cds alongside, cover tear
