1859 (Mar 14) H.M.S. wrapper from the Bankrupt Estate Office sent locally in Port Louis to Rempart Street, franked with 1848-59 Post Paid 1d worn impression, pos.3, just touched at upper right, tied by crisp “PENNY POST” hs, reverse with crowned Mauritius cds, attractive cover and the only known cover with the stamp cancelled by the Penny Post hs, an exhibition item, ex Dale-Lichtenstein & Kanai, cert.
