1875 1pi red perf.12 1/2, Forme B, top left corner sheet marginal vertical tete-beche pair (pos.1/11), very fine, ex Byam
Note: Frequent cleaning of the plates was required due to certain pigments reacting with the copper, hence some stereos were inverted when being replaced leading to tete-beche stamps appearing in different positions Catalogue ref: D26a
