1863 5s Arms entire (Sass. 18) uprated with 1863 pair of 3s and single 5s (all perf 14) tied by ornamented Massa cds and italic P.D. hs. Sent to Recco via Ostiglia, Milano and Genova (transits plus bs on reverse), slight soiling else very fine. The ONLY such combination franking known to Enzo Diena (cert. 1988: “Non conosco altri interi da 5 soldi del 1863-1864 con analoga affrancatura complementare.”) and a marvelous showpiece
