1850-1851 ‘PRE FIRST DAY COVER BY MISTAKE’: Folded lettersheet franked 3Kr handmade paper type Ia bearing ‘BRUNECK 1.JAN 1850’ cds (from the wood-cut postmark serie) to Sillian with arrival marking at back, the year inset of this postmark was not changed at the end of Dec. 1850, at bottom of cover slight crease remainders affecting the adhesive otherwise very fine cover of this famous postmark error, mini cert.
