1854-1890s, Great-grandfather’s
album with hundreds of different stamps, classics only, stuck down as was the
method in 19th century collecting. We note German States inc. Bavaria
imperfs to 18kr, lots of Romanian imperfs, Italian States especially Sicily
imperfs, Hong Kong, China inc. Shanghai candareens, well-filled US pages with imperf
and perf classics inc. 12c Washingtons perf 15 and perf 12½ plus $1 black Perry
and much more, through to Australian States imperfs, New Zealand Chalon heads, etc, a few forgeries spotted, offered intact as received, very mixed condition Auction
