1907 Card from Nikolaevsk to Blagoveshchensk franked 2k cancelled BLAGOVESHCHENSK-NIKOLAEVSK STEAMSHIP ‘b’ large format 19 5 07, 1k stamp originally missed by postal clerk, cancelled on day of arrival BLAGOVESHCHENSK-NIKOLAEVSK STEAMSHIP ‘b’ small format 29 5 07, showing that datestamps in both formats were carried on board, the smaller being used generally to indicate date of off-loading. Illustrated BJRP No. 90 (2003) p.54, fig. 12b. Also 1912 cover to Wales franked 10k with the same cancel serial ‘ a’ and small piece with 10k pair with same cancel.
