Lot 40925 – 1870-73 Medio Real black on yellow, ordinary paper

Please note: Variety of small thin second ‘’R’’ of CORREOS was first reported in the magazine AJP (American Journal of Philately) dated 15 of May 1904. It appear that the vast majority of this variety, comes from Position # 21, Setting V. This information was lost and has only recently been re-discovered, due to the consulting of an extensive private library, consecrated to the Dominican Republic stamps, errors and varieties.
