SICILY 1859 1/2 Grano plate I, the very rare yellow-olive (giallo oliva) shade, neatly tied on 1860 journal “Tremacoldo” Messina 11 January 1860, in fine condition with full to wide margins, The only known example of this rarity used as a single on entire (no other cover or journal recorded). Expertise: cert. E. Diena “grande rarity” (1990), Raybaudi “l’unico” (2000) and Colla (2016, “perfetto. data la sua unicità”), Sassone €130’000 as used single stamp off cover (our estimate €650.000 on cover) .
