1852 1 Scudo Rose-carmine together with 4 baj. yellow and 7 baj. blue neatly cancelled by diamond of bars on transatlantic envelope sent from Rome on 29 August 1859 to Auburn, State of New York, USA.
“Civitavecchia * Bastimenti di Commercio” handstamp alongside together with French transit marking and NEW YORK entry cds in red. Mostly good margins for this attractive and very rare three colour-franking.
