1932 “Rockwell Kent” issue: One of only two recorded envelopes with “essay”-sketch of what was later going to be the 10 öre red airmail stamp. Oval KOLONIEN UMANAK pmk in black and “Universal – Dr. Frank / Greenland Expedition” red handstamp alongside. The adhesive on the envelope was added later. The envelope has been folded at its base for exhibition purposes. An exceptional item.
