MINT TETE-BECHE PAIR 10k Rose MINT tete-beche pair, large margins all around, with large part original gum, the top example has a small thin and a tiny corner crease, fresh colour and fresh gum, a wonderful and important item of Classic Finnish Philately, cert. Ossa Provenance: the Antti Haggrén collection. Little is noted in the literature about this somewhat mysterious pair which was believed at one point to have come from one of the known blocks of four. Research has shown that this is not the case. This pair is not recorded by L & N Williams in their “Encyclopeadia of Rare and famous Stamps”.
