1816 (Aug 16) Entire to London with ms rate “2/2” with arrival bs, sent during a period (1810-36) where no Montserrat markings were applied, with message inside: “…we have had a most dreadful hurricane of the 16th ??? which has destroyed the buildings in parts…it fortunately blew from the Eastward for had it shifted certain destruction must have ensued…” Catalogue
