1859 (Dec 2) Envelope sent registered to Switzerland with 1858 Queen on Throne 6d blue and 1859 1s blue perf.12 strip of three (pos. 35-37, with 35 showing retouch & creased transfer affecting ING of SHILLING), tied by “25” numerals of Hepburn, with London, France and Swiss bs, minor soiling, a scarce high franking and the only known example of this retouch on cover, cert.
