1850 Cottonreel 12 cents black on blue, Townsend type C with thin oval rule, security initials “EDW” of postal official Wight, cancelled by both Berbice and Demerara cds October 1850, cut square with good to huge margins, central stain where originally affixed to cover, slight repairing over paper fault as is frequent for this issue, good appearance and rare (SG £35’000)
