1860 1s Orange-Vermilion imperf., good to large margins, with “CANCELLED” barred oval (made by Perkins Bacon as a gift to Rowland Hill’s family), small thin spot at base, very fine appearance and extremely rare, the only example recorded known in private hands (SG £17’000)
