1914 (Jan 17) Ligue Nationale Aerienne 5m postal stationery envelope addressed in Pourpe’s handwriting to the President of L.N.A (who sponsored the flight) in Cairo, carried on the return flight from Khartoum to Cairo, uprated by Sudan 3m and 5m stamps tied by Khartoum cds, backstamped Cairo (Jan 21), with circular “POSTE AERIENNE / L.N.A / MARC POURPE / 1913-14 / CAIRE-KHARTOUM” violet cachet, minor soiling, fine and very rare with few known covers from this flight, cert.
