1915-45, Collection of mint, used, covers, housed in 11 volumes (7 stock books and 4 albums) plus loose pages, stock sheets etc. A rather disorganised holding but packed with much valuable and interesting material (with almost all of it expertised), incl. fine sections of ” Wir Sind Frei” overprints, Estonian areas, plus other Baltics including Telschan, also Macedonia, Montenegro items to €5’200, Pleskau items to €1’000++, Serbia with various position of the Christ stamps including rare ones, good Ukrainian areas, terrific Zara (we note MI 29-30 signed A. Diena and much more), Belgium & French Legions with Polar Bear SS mint on philatelic cover & imperf mint. Assad Hind with 2 sets of the seldom seen high values, great Feldpost with Tunis, Crete, Rhodes, with nearly all rare Insel post issues, Weihnachten, U-Boat Helm, lovely page of propaganda forgeries. There are also earlier issues with specialised Memel with better items in duplication, Belgium, Eupen & Libau, Romania, etc. We suggest a careful and detailed inspection to give the best chance of success for this very popular area.
