1864 (Apr 23) Envelope sent registered from Brighton to India with 1857-69 4d blue strip of four and 2d slate green, mixed margins, paying 6d overseas Ship Letter rate and 1s registration fee, tied by “10” numerals with ms “Registered” alongside, reverse with Launceston and Hyderabad cds, stamps folded over the top edge with cover opened for display, a scarce registered franking and an unusual destination Catalogue ref: 34,37
