1858 (Jan 9) Entire from Launceston to Scotland with 1855 4d pair and single (2 shades), and 1857-69 4d strip of three, mixed margins, tied by “60” numerals, endorsed “via Marseilles” paying double the Ship Letter rate (1s) and quadruple the French overland transit rate, carried from Melbourne by SS “Columbian”, by “Teviot” from Alexandria to Malta and “Wye” on to Marseille, despatch ds adjacent and Greenock arrival cds, some stamp faults, a very rare if not unique franking Catalogue ref: 18
