1856 (Aug 15) Wrapper from Launceston to England with 1855 4d strip of three, just clear to good margins, tied by light “60” numerals, paying double the Ship Letter rate, sent via Melbourne per P.O. “Lightning” over the Cape Horn due to the conditions brought on by the Crimean War, with despatch, Liverpool and London ds adjacent, filing fold affecting middle stamp, fine and scarce Catalogue ref: 18
