1854 (Apr 30) Wrapper from Spring Bay to England with eight 1853 4d Orange plate 1 (strip of four, pair and two singles), worn impression, all at least touched with one particularly badly cut into, paying 2s8d registered Ship Letter rate (carried by P&O “Madras”), cancelled by “56” numerals in manuscript, with “SHIP LETTER / PLYMOUTH” and Hobart ds below, reverse with London, Ashbourne, Maidstone and West Farleigh ds, some cover faults, an attractive and unique multiple franking Catalogue ref: 8
