Description
1859 cover from Demerara to London with wing margin pair of 1s green cancelled by “A03” numeral oval of Demerara, matching despatch cds for NO 25 59 on flap, pair just tied at lower right, an extremely rare franking, the only known pair on cover (Townsend and Howe state “1/- value not seen on cover”). Slight corner bend on left stamp and cover shortened at left
