ONE OF ONLY 3 COVERS WITH 1A WITH BLUE “ZANZIBAR” OVPT
1896 (Mar 12) Envelope at double letter rate to England bearing 1895-96 1a with BLUE OVERPRINT and 4a tied by the hatched cds, London bs, some peripheral cover faults and minor soiling.
Extremely rare as only 3 covers with the 1a with blue “Zanzibar” overprint have been recorded. An exhibition showpiece.
