1891 (Apr 25) “German East Africa Company, Zanzibar” printed envelope (with wafer seal on reverse) at double letter rate to Germany with 1889-1900 10pf pair and 20pf tied by German Zanzibar cds, arrival bs, fine and rare
Note: In 1891, the German government began to directly rule German East Africa thus rendering the German East Africa Company redundant and it ceased to exist soon after Auction
