1889 (Feb 2) Large envelope sent registered to West Prussia (Allenstein) at twelve times letter-rate bearing 1882-90 2R pair and two 3a tied with type 6 date-stamp with “REG”. The envelope was carried on French Packet Ligne V SS “Mendoza” to Marseille, then by train to Germany. An extraordinary high franking cover, ex Henry Heath. Auction
