Description
1905 Stampless viewcard of Harbin addressed to Lodz, posted 27 XI 05 at FIELD POST OFFICE/HEADQUARTERS 3rd MANCHURIAN ARMY. Linear handstamp in red: TO BE DELIVERED WITHOUT CHARGING POSTAGE DUE, evidently applied at Lodz. This instructional marking was unnecessary as such soldier’s mail was post-free.
