The Kilian Nathan Collection: Highly Important Specialised Collection 1862-1960, An outstanding collection neatly mounted & written up on thousands of album pages showing strength in specialisation within each issue with essays, die proofs, composite die proofs, photographic essays & proofs, plate proofs, Specimen ovpts, overprint & surcharge varieties, ranges of minor varieties & positional blocks, etc. Perforation varieties include imperfs & imperf between pairs. Also included are Specimen cancels, fancy & colour cancels, revenue & fiscal cancels, perfins, plus an incredible array of covers showing commercial usage, with registered, postal stationery, bisects, wrappers, etc., plus fine range of postage dues & telegraph issues This fabulous collection has been divided into the following 8 sections: 1) 1862-80, Specialised collection of the Liberty Cap issue, incl. the different types of paper, perforations and printings, with a huge array of different cancellations incl. foreign and local post offices, unused blocks and singles, also some large blocks of reprints 2) 1890-1899, First to Tenth “Seebeck” Issues in 4 albums incl. various types of Specimen or Sin Valor ovpts, specimen cancellations “Direccion,” Official overprints, die proofs showing progressive stages, essays, plate proofs, colour proofs on India paper, colour trials in singles & blocks, salesman’s presentation cards, New Year’s presentation cards from the postmaster general, imperfs & imperf between pairs, etc. 3) 1890-1959, Officials in 7 albums incl. trial overprints in black & red with double overprint varieties, Specimen ovpts, plus array of varieties, values without ovpt, imperfs & imperf between pairs, blocks, panes, many franked covers, Diplomatic mail, etc. 4) 1896-99, Postage Dues, mint & used collection of with the different printings incl. shades, die proofs, imperf, specimens, reprints, blocks and multiples 5) 1900-1905, Mt.
