BRITISH LEVANT: 1864-1900 GB used in Constantinople, mostly with “C” in barred oval cancels, incl. 1d reds with die I perf.16 pl.R5, several perf.14 plated examples, 1864-79 1d red extensive plate selection (50 stamps), 2 1/2d blue and rosy mauve plates, with 3d, 4d, 6d and 1s issues with different plates and shades, plus later issues incl. 1884 1s and high values incl. 10s with “R” in oval cancel, mixed condition (142 stamps and 9 covers) (Est. € 700/1’000) Auction
