1853 Envelope from Chain of Ponds to England bearing the extremely rare “CHAIN OF PONDS 14 Dec 53” manuscript marking, carried by Australian Royal Mail Co. ship “Sydney” via CGH and Plymouth, various markings, tiny cover tear at top, very fine.
