1862 (May 17) Small envelope to MAURITIUS with 1862-644d bright red (perf. faults at top) on obverse and 1854-57 1d red pair on reverse, all tied by Cambridge “158” duplexes, the two penny reds obviously not seen and struck with “DEFICIENT POSTAGE…” boxed hs, corrected and with the ms notations crossed out, “4 1/2d” hs, London and Mauritius bs, small portion of backflap missing, attractive cover Auction
