1913 (Jan. 8) Calcutta Aerial Exhibition, small card flown by French Aviators Verminck & Pourpe and dropped over Calcutta from 20’000 feet, reverse has French Consulate General hs plus Stephen Smith 1927 signature as expertise (and local handwriting expert’s oval hs, ms dated 1927). The card was unknown until it was described in the July 1927 journal of the Aero Philatelic Society of India (clipping enclosed), finest of only a few known, very fine (AAMC 2)
