1933 (June) Zeppelin 3rd South America Flight reg’d cover with 3.25L total franking tied at Asmara (May 31), sent via Barcelona (large oval bs of June 13) then Rome and Munich (both July 1 airmail bs), then flown from F’hafen (July 1 cds) and dropped at Barcelona (July 3 bs), most unusual especially with special red linear “Friedrichshafen (Bodensee) – Barcelona” hs, notes on reverse indicate only 10 such were prepared, very fine (Sieger 219 Ca var, € 350+; Sassone Z16d, € 750) Auction
