IMPORTANT EXHIBIT COLLECTION OF THE EARLIEST ISSUES
1852-1880, Exhibit collection superbly presented & written up in English on 128 album pages (8 frames), arranged in five well defined sections from the first issue of William the III through the Coat of Arms imperforates, roulettes and perf. 13×13 & perf. 12 1/2×12, showing proofs, mint, used, multiples, cancellations as well as single, multiple & mixed frankings.
The highlights include William III 10c strip of four & two pairs on cover, 10c block of four on cover, 1Sg strip of five used (apparently one of only three known), 1859 + 1865 rare mixed issue franking, rare full parcel receipt card with mixed franking, plus military cover from Prussian garnison in Luxembourg, some with certificates, generally fine to very fine, a truly wonderful lot being an excellent basis for study & expansion
