1922 “Liberation of Work” 7500R on chalky creamy surfaced paper in horizontal tête-bêche gutter pair, trivial rough spot in gutter and as usual folded in of gutter, mint (hr), signed Dr. Kossoy A very rare and elusive tete-beche gutter pair due to the fact that these were not sold through Soviet/RSFSR philatelic agencies or shops but survived by accident due to wrong cutting of the printing panes. This gutter is not yet catalogued in any of the major specialised catalogues. Furthermore we know of only one similar item (7’500R ordinary paper tête-bêche gutter block of 4) which was sold recently in public auction (Cherrystone, N.Y.) for the astronomical figure of US$130’000 – making it a key item of RSFSR philately Estimate: € 30’000 – €40’000
