1814-50 Postal History: Extensive & valuable assembly of more than one hundred (100) stampless covers showing a vast array of town markings including red & black boxed hs of Grissee, Rembang, Tianjor & Sumanap, oval & oval Franco mkgs of Anjohmaas, Bageleen in black & red in different types, Banjoemaas, Cheribon in black & red, Djocjokarta in blue & red, Fort William I Ambarawa, Grissee, Keboemen Res Bagelen, Krawang, Macassar in different types, Madioen, Padang, Passaroeang, Pekalongang in blue, Roiuw, Samarang, Sourabaya in blue, Tagal & Toeban etc., plus array of oval negative cachets & some scarce early mkgs, instructional mkgs with boxed INDIA PAID AT BATAVIA, also some useful Forwarding Agents, an excellent basis for study & a wonderful opportunity to form an exhibition collections (103 covers/fronts, five other items with map, prints & other documents) (Est. € 20’000/26’000)
