The important and unrecorded Charity Letter1820 (10.1) Miniature envelope sent within Dublin to Drumcondra and showing a red small scroll unrecorded type « CHARITY LETTER » (similar to DF No.231), with red scroll « TOO LATE » and « P.P.OFFICE » » ds on reverse, fine strike of this extremely rare unrecorded small type, important exhibition showpiece.
Note: The 1818 Act (59 George III c 108) authorised special postage rates for single unsealed printed notices sent by Charitable Institutions within Ireland.
