1917-18 The French Military Mission in Yambo: Non-Philatelic mail from this small detachment sent to assist Prince Abdullah (later King of Jordan), is very rarely seen, sender c/o « Mission Française d’Arabie/Yambo », to France with cachets of censor 310 and « AMBULANCE/LE MEDECIN-CHEF », the only recorded example, plus redirected cover to France, sender c/o « Mission Militaire Française au Hedjaz…pour Yanbo ». Military « 601 » (Suez) transit cds (29.8.18). Cachet « MISSION B / LE VAGUEMESTRE », a fine and rare pair.
