1871 (Nov 8) Entire sent from Caracas to Bordeaux, via St Thomas, with fine strike of the « Correos Caracas De Venezuela » oval cancel, carried to St Thomas on the Sider steamer and then reshipped onto the RMSP Nile that departed on 14 November destined for Plymouth, with charge mark « 12 » and the accountancy mark « GB/1F60c » (Anglo-Franco treaty), a Calais transit dated ‘Nov 28’ also to front, on the reverse a London cds ‘Nov 28’, central horizontal filing crease, otherwise fine and scarce; cert. Asofilca (2010).
