1924 Paris Olympics essay in paint and pencil of the 10c value showing an athlete doing the Olympic salute above Paris, 24.5×15.5cm, in black on paper with annotations in the margins in French indicating a switch in position of the value and « RF », and that the colour of the « RF » should be greyed and the « POSTES 10 » in white, with the sky and the athlete in deep green and the terrain in light green, a unique and highly important essay showing a step in the evolution of the design, ex Manfred Bergman.
