ONE OF THE GREAT 20TH CENTURY RARITIES OF GREAT BRITAIN1902-10 De La Rue 1/2d yellow-green with variety PRINTED DOUBLE in a vertical lower marginal pair, with the lower stamp showing a complete double impression and the upper stamp with a small portion printed at foot, very fine, one of only three complete double impressions (one of which is in the Royal collection) Note: Also 10 partial with varying degrees of doubling are known (see photo reconstruction included with the lot, which shows these two as numbers 10 and 13 in the listings).
